We have an excellent permanent opportunity available for an experienced Software Tester to join a world-leading broadcast product manufacturer. This opportunity can be offered on a remote basis providing you are happy to visit their South East based officea couple of times a month.You will be responsible for testing an array of broadcast video and graphics software applications within a Windows environment. You will create test plans for both existing and new software releases and features, write and run manual tests, script and analyseautomated tests in Python, investigate product defects and provide reports on the quality of software.Candidates will have proven experience as a Software Test Engineer and ideally be ISEB / ISTQB Foundation certified or a have a similar level qualification or equivalent industry experience. You will have previous experience of testing Windows based applicationsand writing automated test scripts using Python, along with the ability to design test plans and strategies, write and execute test cases and open and verify software bugs. Strong problem-solving skills are also key.Any additional experience of scripting in JavaScript, PHP, Powershell or BASH and knowledge of Jira, Visual Studio, Azure Virtual Machine, Adobe Photoshop and test case management systems would be highly advantageous.
