An ideal step into Private Building Control with the future opportunity to join the board of Directors.Your New RoleAn approved building inspector with nearly 20 years history within Cambridgeshire and North Hertfordshire. Fully independent with a small team of longstanding and qualified surveyors who have developed a proud reputation with local developers, consultants,architects, and builders.Renowned for providing a personal, thorough, and professional service. Offering their clients expert knowledge and guidance to ensure compliance throughout the building process. Which in turn has led to the majority of instructions being generated from repeatbusiness and recommendations. Including involvement on some of the regions most interesting development projects as well as a sound reputation on more traditional instructions from homeowners.A successful company who continuously invest back into the business and team.From regular staff training upskilling their teams knowledge and understanding on current legislation, through to investing in the latest IT Equipment and bespoke Building Control Management Systems.An increase in instructions has created a rare opportunity to expand the team at senior level. We have been engage to appoint a Senior / Associate level Building Control Surveyor who can assist with the current workload but also motivated to help the businessexpand even further. For the right candidate there is the opportunity to progress in terms of joining the board of Directors.Ideally you will have more than 10 years experience within Building Control and be competent in dealing with both domestic and small to medium size commercial projects. You will already be a Chartered Member of CABE, CIOB or RICS. Being located close toNorth Hertfordshire would be beneficial, as projects do extend into areas from Royston to Stevenage.The daily routine will include all aspects of delivering a Building Control service, including site inspections, plan checking, consultations, pre-application meetings, handling client queries by phone and email and working with the Company Directors toidentify new clients and opportunities.A generous salary package is on offer which will be pertinent to your experience and qualifications but expected to be between £45,000 to £70,000 with an appropriate benefits package.
