The exciting times at this company just keep on coming. This newly created Project Accountant position working in Alconbury represents an outstanding opportunity to be involved in the construction phase and opening of a new site fro a finance perspective. Working closely with stakeholders and having fingers in many pies, the role will be integral in the production of management information for the project team to ensure accurate and pertinent information is produced. Key duties will include Running weekly spend and payment reportingUpdating Capex submissions Allocating costs to correct Capex Weekly spend and payment reporting Coding and posting project invoices Credit checking Analysing actual vs budgetBalance sheet reconciliations Cashflow reporting Ad hoc analysis This role will suit someone who is looking for the opportunity to further develop their skills in finance who is ideally actively studying towards their accounting qualification. Perhaps you have been primarily working in a more transactional role but your studies have given you a taste for more. This role would give you the springboard to gain unrivalled exposure in an ever-evolving business. While this role is initially a 12-month contract, the opportunities with this business are plentiful and there is a strong likelihood that there will be other positions available. That said, if you decide to move on after the initial contract ends, you willhave gained outstanding experience in a business that is continues to lead the way in innovation within the FMCG sector.
