Job SpecificationFor: Production Technician - Carbon Coatings Department Meyer Scott Ref: VR/08215Location: Swavesey, near CambridgePermanentSalary: 20K to 22K negotiable, Company Pension Scheme and 24 days holiday per annum [+Public holidays].Our client is a growing Heat Treatment and Surface Engineering Company specialising in ultra-hard and lubricious coatings for aerospace, medical and tooling applications.You will have an outgoing personality, be proactive and enjoy solving problems, have bags of enthusiasm and enjoy working as a part of a small team or on your own. Attention to detail and manual dexterity is important. Good communication skills, both oraland written are required for customer liaison.This post is permanent and will involve training all aspects of the process. This includes inward inspection, surface preparation and cleaning, fixturing and jigging, coating machine preparation and maintenance, coating chamber operation and final inspection.For the right candidate there is potential for progression in the department or in other areas of the company.After your initial training you may be required to work on a three shift rota.Duties will include:
