Multi-Shift Maintenance EngineerCambridgeshireCommutable from Peterborough, Thrapston, Huntingdon, Yaxley, Whittlesey, Stamford, March £35,000Permanent Panama 12hr Day Shift - 6am-6pmOur client is a leading fresh food processing & packaging manufacturer, with a reputation for product quality which is second to none and industry leading standards. Due to continued customer growth they are looking for a Multi-Skilled Engineer - electrically biased to support their engineering operations. Role & Responsibilities:*Provide front line engineering support to all food processing, production & packaging machinery*Prioritise breakdowns on shift to get machinery up and running as safely and quickly as possible*Carrying out both electrical & mechanical fault finding & routine maintenance plans*Keep machinery working to the designed output efficiency *Monitor computer systems to determine efficiencies & development of systems*Working on facilities and site services maintenance daily *Regular PPM and scheduled maintenance and improvement works Knowledge, Skills & Experience:*Need to be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer *Essential to have at least City & Guilds 2323 Industrial Electrical Maintenance or 17th Edition *Strong cultural fit need to be a confident character with a good sense of humour*Have at least 5 years experience in food / FMCG manufacturing *Experienced in high-volume, fast moving environment, supplying into retailer outlets*Excellent verbal & written communication skills*Must have worked on high-speed food production, packaging & processing machinery*Ideally have dealt with conveyors, motors, strappers, palletisers, bucket fillers, weighers etc.*Able to organise and manage own time when on shift*Proven experience of continuous improvement activities *PLC - electrical fault-finding skills*Strong electrical & mechanical problem-solving skillsShifts & Benefits Package:*Shift:-Permanent Panama 12hr Rotating Day Shift - 6am-6pm*Salary:- £35,000 + Regular Overtime*Benefits:- Autoenrollment Pension, 20 Shift Holidays, Overtime & Life AssuranceMulti-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Engineer, Maintenance Technician, Multi-Skilled Maintenance Technician, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Technician, Electrical Engineer, PLC Engineer, Controls Engineer, Automation Engineer, Packaging Engineer, Packaging TechnicianJob Reference No: SE17559 / 534Suitable candidates should apply immediately by calling our Managing Consultant for this vacancy - Chris Gumm on or by sending your CV directly to him at We regret that this client is not prepared to sponsor work permit or work permit transfer applications.
