Job Description

Mechanical Design Engineer required to join a well-established company that specialise in delivering next-generation textile production processes that will deliver a dramatic reduction in energy consumption and eliminate contaminated wastewateremissions.Mechanical Design Engineer Position Requirements

  • Previous experience in tension control of extensible materials, preferably fabrics
  • Experience in the handling of broad-web and narrow-web materials, preferably fabrics
  • Experience of fabric/paper continuous web handling design and development in textiles/inkjet/offset press industries
  • Knowledge of servo motors, ac drives, rollers, pin drives etc.
  • Able to inform machine design on web path design
  • Able to set up test facilities for web path development
  • Hands-on engineering approach
  • SolidWorks user
Mechanical Design Engineer Position Remuneration
  • Full time permanent position
  • Salary - £70,000 - £80,000 (DOE)
  • 33 days holiday including BH
  • Monday - Friday - 09:00am - 17:30pm
  • Private Family health care and life insurance
