Job Description

INBOUND CALL AGENT - INSURANCE Our client, a Times Top 30 major UK insurer, is growing their sales team and are looking for a couple of new team members! The role is predominantly phone-based where youll handle mainly inbound calls - there is no "cold calling". Youll be speaking daily to people who are motor and car owners, so if youre a bit of a passion for anything with four wheels, and you enjoy speaking to others, apply today!About our clientTheyre a leading and expanding motor insurance group who are renowned for their staff reward and recognition and are ranked highly in The Times Top 30 Big Companies to work for. Theyre a modern and progressive group and pride themselves on their dynamicand agile way of working.Starting salary of £19,000 progressing to £21,000 after 18 months in the role! + Average commission £500-£750 per month once youre up and running - OTE £25,000 - £30,000!Location: after training is complete, youll be typically based twice a week in the office (St. Ives, Cambridgeshire) and the rest of the week working from home! For the first few weeks youll be trained in person in the office.Shift pattern:Week 1: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5pmWeek 2 :

  • Monday 10am - 6pm,
  • Tuesday 10:30am - 6pm,
  • Wednesday 10:30am - 6pm,
  • Thursday 10:30am - 6pm,
  • Friday 10am - 6pm,
  • Saturday 9am - 1pm
Key tasks will include but not limited to:
  • Answering inbound telephone calls.
  • Making outbound telephone calls (no "cold calling")
  • Willing to go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Effectively communicate with customers to provide relevant product information that is clear, fair, and not misleading allowing the customer to make an informed decision.
  • Understand customers issues and recommend solutions.
  • Maximise targets through the provision of effective and efficient communication and negotiation skills.
  • Use all relevant information to optimise opportunities to cross sell and up sell insurance products.
  • Evidence excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Manage time effectively to meet required business targets ensuring quality and accuracy requirements are met.
