Job Description

Job Title: H&S Consultant and Technical LeadSalary: Competitive + Car AllowanceLocation: Field based (National)Ideal location: CambridgeshireThe Opportunity:Reporting to Head of Technical Delivery, the H&S Consultant opportunity will be responsible for coaching and supporting the HS consultancy team, to ensure the highest levels of productivity and quality are maintained whilst ensuring excellent customer service. The H&S Technical Lead will be the decision maker on H&S queries raised by the team and will provide governance around the H&S consultancy process. Working alongside the Head of Technical Delivery the HS Technical Lead will be responsible for identifying ways to maximise the fee earning activities of existing resource whilst driving revenue and customer retention.The H&S Technical Lead will continue performing a consultancy role which will enable them to contribute to the overall team targets whilst maintaining a working knowledge of the consultancy process.The Business:Our PSM (People and Safety Management) product line has over 28 years of experience in providing people and safety management, with an enviable client base and impressive client retention scores.The Ideal Candidate:We are looking for a candidate who has Health and Safety experience in a senior capacity, ideally with leadership experience. The ideal candidate will have a Nebosh Diploma or equivalent level Health and Safety Qualifications, as well as CMIOSH or equivalent level of Health and Safety Membership. The successful candidate will be comfortable with regular travel (3-4 days a week minimum) and be available for regular overnight stays. It is desirable that the candidate has a working knowledge of fire safety.The Bits Our People Love:
