Are you interested in shaping and maintaining the financial backbone of a prestigious institution Can you interpret complex information and transform it into simple clear language Were on the lookout for a Financial Regulations Lead to fill this pivotalrole, which will revolutionise our clients Financial Regulations.The position is hybrid and will require someone on-site in Cambridgeshire 1-2 times per week. For the right candidate we will also consider hybrid working on a fortnightly basis.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Financial Regulations Lead will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. You will lead on the creation of an enhanced set of Financial Regulations, establishing yourself as the go-to-expert for guidance and their interpretation.2. From crafting clear and comprehensive regulations to seamlessly integrating with policies and procedures, your work will be instrumental in maintaining compliance and fostering a culture of transparency and efficiency.3. You will work within a cross functional environment, supporting a wide range of stakeholders, working within an advisory capacity to the Senior Leadership Team.4. There is a Finance Transformation journey underway, as our client looks to establish new ways of working using modern technology platforms and elevate their Financial Regulations to meet the needs of an ever-evolving landscape.ROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Financial Regulations Lead we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. You will ideally be educated to degree level within a finance related discipline or similar.2. Experience in the development of financial regulations or a professional with experience of developing controls. Ideally gained in both Commercial and Higher Education/Public Sector environments.3.
