Job Description

Embedded Software EngineerHertfordshire/Cambridge - £60,000 - £95,000 pa (depending on experience)A top consultancy in the Cambridge area is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team developing complex Embedded Systems for next generation Telecoms & Satellite Communications projects. After landing some large contracts they are havinga massive recruitment drive and are looking for top talent to help with the increasing workload.Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to all stages of software & product development
    • Analysis
    • System architecture
    • Prototype design
    • Testing
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team developing a wide range of ideas and projects
  • Grow strong relationships with clients & stakeholders and aid them with developing their requirements and visions
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Embedded C
  • RTOS & Bare metal programming
  • Serial interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART etc.)
  • Full software development life cycle experience
  • Wireless Technologies (4G, 5G, LTE, PHY, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi etc.)
Non-Essential/Nice to haves:
  • Python
  • Telecoms & Cellular experience
  • Writing Bootloaders
  • Electronics test equipment (Oscilloscopes etc.)
