Being heard in a noisy world is a problem we’ve all faced.A company has developed a unique and deeply innovative technology that allows voice commands on any device, to be recognised in real-time, despite any background noise. The solution has been proven to increase the accuracy of voice recognition and increase the effectiveness of hearing aid devices in loud environments, fourfold. And they’re looking for a DevOps Engineer to take ownership of DevOps processes, tools, and increasing cloud capabilities.Voice technology is becoming more embedded in our daily lives and when it comes to noisy or busy places, the two don’t quite work in harmony. They’re a start-up and have some pretty impressive investors to match their very credible founding team and board members. They’re well-funded, having secured their Series A investment which gives them lots of financial stability. Meaning you get the best of both worlds, the energetic start-up buzz and a role with plenty of variety, with the peace of mind knowing you are part of a financially stable company. As they continue to disrupt the ever-growing voice tech industry, you’ll join them in the fundamental stages of their journey, with a challenging but rewarding technical roadmap to tackle. As DevOps Engineer you’ll need to wear many hats, so if variety is what gets you up in the morning it could be a great match. You’ll be increasing cloud capabilities (specifically on AWS), driving DevOps processes, building CI/CD pipelines, and take care of networking and security. Part of your role will include some Sysadmin duties and you’ll be the "go-to" person for anything IT related. You’ll bring some good experience building CI/CD pipelines, currently, theirs are built using Jenkins but you’ll have the autonomy to use your own toolkit. You will know your way around AWS, have a good Linux/Ubuntu background, have a bit of experience with APIs, and use Python or Bash for scripting. Networking fundamentals and an appreciation for security are also essential.Bonus points if you’ve used API’s to connect microservices or have some hands-on use of Raspberry Pi.What do you get in return for your hard workNot only will you know that the work you do has an impact on people’s lives, but you’ll also get a competitive salary, plus 25 days of annual leave and share options. You’ll be part of a company that truly values and respects their employees. They’re big believers in personal development, so you’ll get the support and opportunity to develop your own skills and grow within the company.During these times, you’ll join the company remotely but as things start to ease, you’ll be able to collaborate with the team in their Cambridge office for a couple of days a week and the rest wherever you wish. They put their people first, so you’ll also have flexibility around your hours to fit around your lifestyle.Ready to join an ambitious scale-up, developing a one of a kind solution Just apply!Everyone will get a response.
