A leading Safety Manufacturing client are on the lookout for an expert Design & Configuration Team Lead to join a dynamic team and lead the Mechanical, Electronics and Test Engineers throughout full product life cycle.The role is Full Time, needs someone who can be onsite in Cambridgeshire most of the time (flexible remote working available when required), and are offering a competitive salary with extensive benefits, bonus and generous pension plan.The CompanyMy client are a specialist consumer safety manufacturer, and pride themselves on being a leading brand for security and safety devices for consumer and corporate sites.My client also value their employees and give them the freedom to be creative and innovative.Design & Configuration Team Lead As you will be the Team Lead for a number of members across the full lifecycle of the project, having previous experience within a management role is essential. The successful candidate will also need to be able to work with multiple characters, have excellentcommunication and leadership skills, and understand the importance of working as a team on the full project.Skills overview also includes:- Previous experience as a mechanical engineer or equivalent- Technical understanding of CAD Systems, BOMs, Packaging design etc.- General knowledge of Product Data Management (PDM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)- Experience working within a manufacturing environment, especially within safety critical projectsPlease apply with an up to date CV.
