Job Description

Water Treatment Engineer • Cambridge • Salary to £30,000 DOE • Permanent • Our client is a highly reputable Water Contractor who pride themselves on quality of work, honesty and being an understanding employer. They are looking for a Water Treatment Engineer to join their team. This role would suit someone who has solid industry experience as an engineer and now looking for a business who look after their staff and can be valued.As a Water Treatment Engineer, your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Chemical analysis and sampling, submitting them to labs.
  • Cleaning and disinfecting of CWST’s.
  • Temperature monitoring.
  • Shower head cleaning and disinfection.
  • Understanding of schematic drawings of hot and cold water systems, cold water storage tank inspections.
  • Carrying out Legionella Risk Assessments as necessary.
  • Monitoring and recording data in periodic log books.
  • Working in confined spaces and working at height.
    • The Successful ApplicantTo be considered for our Water Treatment Engineer role:
  • You will have a number of years water treatment experience.
  • Plumbing qualification is an advantage but not essential.
  • Excellent record keeping and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communications skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work to own initiative.
  • Full current UK driving Licence.
  • Good understanding and a proven track record of working to ACOP L8.
  • Will be an all-rounder, motivated, flexible, have good attitude and a willingness to travel.
