We are currently looking for Water Hygiene Technician / Monitoring Technician, to join our enthusiastic team at HSLCompliance, one of the leading companies in the legionella compliance industry providing services to Local Authorities and Housing Associates throughout the UK.Water Hygiene Technician / Monitoring Technician - The Role:Reporting to the Account Manager/Supervisor, the Monitoring Technician’s role is to undertake L8 monitoring and water treatment services on an array of designated site-based contracts. Contacting each site prior to visit to arrange attendance, using a mobiledevice to keep records up to date at all times.This position is for both entry level and experienced technicians as full training is provided.Main Duties & Responsibilities:• Conducting water testing and monitoring (in accordance with ACoP L8 guidelines)• Monitoring, sampling and various other water treatment tasks• Testing and servicing thermostatic mixing valves• Shower cleans & other clean and disinfection work• Respond to call outs & liaise with Clients & Tenants• Carry out statutory inspections• Cold water tank inspections• Inspection of hot water storage units• Working at heights / manual handling• Management of own time and arranging own site visitsWater Hygiene Technician / Monitoring Technician - About You:Experience, Skills & Requirements• Excellent customer service, communication & organisational skills• Full driving license (essential)• GCSE educated or equivalent• Employment subject to a satisfactory DBS checkIf you have the relevant skills and drive to succeed for this role, click on APPLY’ forwarding an up-to-date copy of your CV for consideration.No agencies please!
