Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer - Cambridge - Permanent - Commercial New Build projectsOne of the regions leading M&E Building Services companies, with a portfolio of blue-chip projects for clients across the East of England are currently recruiting for an Electrical Testing & Inspection Engineer on a permanent basis. You will be working onprojects across East Anglia and Home Counties up to the value of £6M.They offer a comprehensive electrical and mechanical installation service across many sectors including Healthcare, Education, R&D and commercial projects. You will be required to record and produce comprehensive reports on the condition of systems using a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) whilst upholding health and safety standards through proficient use of risk and method statements.As the Electrical Tester you will be required to carry out the following works: Survey, test and inspect electrical installations. Electrical Remedial Works. EICRs. Fire Alarm Testing. Successful applicants will have the following experience and qualifications: Solid background with proven experience of working in a similar environment. Overall knowledge and understanding of a wide variety of electrical systems and their installation methods. Experience working on commercial projects. C&G 2391/2394/2395 Inspection & Testing. C&G 2330/2360/2356 Electrical Installation. 18th Edition.
