Job Description

TesterLocation:Cambridge, UK (working from home currently due to Covid-19 restrictions, flexible model of working once back to a normal work environment). Triad Group Plc is currently recruiting for a Tester with GIS experience for a client of ours. You will be part of their delivery team, working within agile cross-functional teams and ensuring team-build quality. You will be a skilled, hands-on Tester, developing and improving automation infrastructure and building test processes, both manual and automated.You will be responsible for the following:

  • Participating proactively in Requirement Analysis and Sprint Ceremonies internally and externally.
  • Delivering manual testing, automated tests, and reporting for stories as part of a Continuous Integration Environment.
  • Ensuring satisfactory sign-off of releases.
    • Required skills and experience:
  • Proven knowledge of the fundamental concepts of software testing.
  • Working knowledge of object-oriented languages, such as Java, C#, and Python.
  • Proven troubleshooting and debugging skills.
  • Experience of or a keen interest in GIS tools and systems.
  • Experience in using automated testing tools and frameworks like NUnit, JUnit, Selenium and Rest-Assured.
  • Experience in using database technologies and scripting to create and validate data.
  • Subversion tooling - GIT.

  • Salary of between £30,000 - £36,000 per annum, depending on experience plus the following benefits -:
