Tester Engineer with manual and automation experience across Android and iOS is required to join a leading software organisation in Cambridge on a 12-month fix term contract. Over the last decade, my client has become the household name in their industry supplying global names with their impressive solutions and due to a new direction to help the companys growth, the CEO is looking to double their current team. Hurren & Hope was approached by the HR Manager who has joined from a former client of ours to help deliver on a campaign to help source a number of candidates for their Cambridge office to release their ambitious growth plans and enable the company to maintain their competitive edge.The role will see you working within the companys dedicated testing team writing test documentation, working with manual test plans and implementing new functionalities to their existing framework whilst working the entire software life-cycle from analysis through to testing mobile apps, web interfaces and streaming solutions. Successful candidates must hold a 2:1 or more in Computer Science or equivalent degree and have 1-2 years demonstrable experience in automation and manual testing across mobile devices using Appium, Symbian, Kobiton or Calabash, ideally with some experience of embedded testing in a Linux environment.
