Avanti Recruitment have partnered with a global tech giant to recruit a Graphics Algorithm Technical Lead to join a powerhouse tech company working on the future of realtime rendering applications with a particular focus on 3d gaming.Youll be responsible for proposing new ideas and developing algorithms for real-time rendering applications, leading a team of talented engineers, assigning development tasks and mentoring Engineers in the group.Youll be researching and investigating game industry trends and working with the wider leadership team to propose innovative graphics/rendering algorithms and solutions. You will also be invited to attend conferences, read papers on the SOTA and gain cutting-edgeknowledge from both academia and industry whilst building out a team around you.Youll need significant experience (we anticipate ~10 years+) in computer graphics, tools, games development.Deep knowledge of topics like physics-based rendering, shading/lighting, shadow algorithms, ray-tracing and neural renderingExperience with algorithms used in game engines (Unreal, Unity, CryEngine),A deep understanding of graphics architectures and hardware.As its a lead role, youll also need an ability to problem-solve combined with good communication and personal skills that will enable you to run a high performance team - being able to creatively problem-solve and think outside the box would go a longway too.In return, this role offers an industry leading salary, excellent benefits package including enhanced pension, life insurance, private medical, employee assistance program, corporate support and regular company socials, flexible working and additional timeoff for learning and development.If youre looking for a challenging and rewarding leadership opportunity at the cutting edge of graphics software, then this might be the job for you!
