Job Description

ABOUT THE SCHOOLProspero Teaching are looking for Teaching assistants to work in an SEN school in the Cambridge area. This is to cover sickness and will be flexible cover as and when needed by the school.The school is an independent SEN school based in Cambridge who specialise in providing education for children aged 5-19 with a diagnosis of Autism or Aspergers.CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

  • Location - Cambridge
  • Position - Teaching Assistant in an SEN school
  • Type of work - Teaching Assistant supporting children with SEN
  • Contract or position start date - ASAP
  • Duration / Likely Duration - flexible supply cover
  • Contract or position end date (if applicable) - flexible supply cover
  • Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary
  • Full time/part time - Full time or part time (hours to suit)
  • Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £80 per day
  • Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • 6 months experience working with children in a similar role
  • Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references
