NXTGEN are working with an award-winning accountancy firm, who are looking for a motivated and ambitious Tax Senior to join their progressive and successful team in Cambridge. This is a Mixed Tax Senior position offering the successful candidate the opportunityto support with both Corporate and Private client matters offering both compliance and advisory services. From a Corporate Tax point of view, you will work with an SME client portfolio advising on Tax planning and supporting them with corporate tax submissionsto HMRC. Where applicable, you will also support clients with more specialist matters such as R&D tax claims and grants. The Tax Senior role will also support HNWs and business owners on their own personal tax matters including the submission of self assessmenttax fillings, Capital gains and personal tax planning.As Tax Senior you will be a key member of the Tax department and will have an opportunity to mentor and support more junior staff. This will include the review of their work prior to submission as well as dealing with any questions or queries they may have.This position is seen as a development role offering the successful candidate great progression and development opportunities within the firm. You will ideally hold a CTA or ACA qualification (or equivalent) and will have prior experience gained within anotheraccountancy firm. A working knowledge of UK tax legislation from both a personal and corporate standpoint would be significantly advantageous. This role is ideally suited to those that are currently specialising in an area of Tax but are looking for a broaderand all encompassing remit.
