Systems Development Engineer/Scientist- PhD Graduates All experience levels considered!- Physics, Electronics, Software, Mechanical EngineeringThis is a great role for a creative engineer or scientist who enjoys working with complex technology playing a key role at all areas of development from experimental design to the commercialisation of technology.The team is made up of a mix of bright minds from physics/electronics and mechanical engineering where you will be involved in working on a range of bleeding edge technology.Due to the nature of the product your days would range from detailed coding and analysis to being involved in prototype testing and development. They have created a unique culture where although they are now the world leaders in their field, they still retainthe start-up type family feel.The company sell patented technology to partners across the world so you will be required to travel occasionally to work with commercial partners on development projects.Although they have recruited many engineers from a consultancy background the difference with this role from consultancy is that you will be able to bring products to market working on a mix of projects from inception through to mass production.We would look at a range of experience levels from fresh PhD graduates to senior candidates with industry experience.For this role we are looking for:A top academic background with a degree or PhD in Physics/Mechanical/Electronic Engineering.An interest or experience of working with programming languages- C#, MATLAB, Python etc.The ability to liaise with eternal customers on complex technology issues.A hands on approach to problem solving and testing.
