Job Description

Job Title: Systems AnalystShifts: Monday to Friday (37.5 hours per week)Salary: Negotiable Duratiation: 9 - 12 monthsLocation: Cambridge - Hybrid role - 2 days onsiteOur client is a research-based biopharmaceutical company that discovers, develops and commercialises innovative medicines in areas of unmet medical need. With each new discovery and investigational drug candidate, we seek to improve the care of patients livingwith life-threatening diseases around the world. Our clients areas of focus include HIV/AIDS, liver diseases, cancer and inflammation, and serious respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.Purpose:Our client is currently looking for a system analyst to assist with development of PMO and provide Planisware capability support to the Development department and sub-functions. This role is hybrid, the expectation is for the employee to be in the Cambridgeoffice a minimum of 2 days per week.Roles and Responsibilities

  • Support Planisware system and associated processes for the Development organization
  • Manage portfolio-level planning cycle in Planisware
  • Review Assets and Products in Planisware
  • Effectively liaise and communicate with other teams involved in the Planisware Capability Support function
  • Ability to work independently without micro-management
Skills and qualifications
  • Advanced level MS Office skills (in particular Excel, MS Project)
  • Strong technical ability with Planisware
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to work on several tasks simultaneously, to tight timelines.
  • Excellent verbal, written communication skills and attention to detail
  • Minimum of 3 years PMO experience (Senior Analyst level)
  • An understanding of processes within regulated industries e.g. banking, insurance, healthcare etc
  • Project management qualification such as PRINCE2 is desirable
  • A degree in a scientific field is beneficial
  • Risk management and change management experience
