Job Description

Synthetic ChemistWe have an excellent opening for a Synthetic Chemist to join an exciting early-stage biotech company developing ground-breaking technology that can be deployed for a number of applications.Working within a laboratory environment, along with a number of Biologists, Chemists, and Physicists, you will be a key member in the development, testing, and improvement of technologies. Specifically, you will focus a lot on your time on solving synthetic chemistry problems.This organization is offering you the chance to work on cutting edge life-improving technologies, coupled with an excellent starting salary and benefits package.Ideal Skills and Qualifications:

  • PhD in Synthetic Chemistry, or B.Sc. / M.Sc. in synthetic chemistry.
  • Synthetic chemistry background and demonstrable excellence in theoretical and practical synthetic chemistry.
  • Understanding of Synthetic chemistry and purification techniques.
  • Strong focus on safety, HSE and quality
  • Understanding of reaction mechanisms and kinetics.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Effective multi-tasking, prioritisation and time-management skills
