Our unique and personalised approach to creative learning has given students the opportunity to develop their skills, build their confidence and progress onto some of the most prestigious Art & Design schools, music conservatoires and world-renowned drama schools.OVERVIEW OF THE JOBYou will ideally have previous commercial experience working in the Game Development industry and hold a degree in an industry relevant qualification. The successful candidate will be required to teach a range of specialisms within the field of Game Art and Design in relation to content creation helping our students to create stunning game art covering the areas of Props, Environments and Lighting. We are looking for Game Artists with a broad depth of knowledge to teach our students industry relevant techniques for both mobile and console/PC games.REPORTS TOYou will be directly responsible to the Head of Summer School. You will work within the framework set by and under the general direction of the Rector.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOBMain purpose of the role:To design, develop, co-ordinate and deliver teaching, learning, assessment and support in relevant curriculum areas to ensure learners achieve their aims. The Creative Media & Games department supports learners studying Games Development. The role will involve teaching on each Games design as well as developing links with local game studios. The ideal candidate will be able to teach a range of game development related content on the most up to date industry related software, such as 3DS Max, Maya and the Unreal Engine.The role will include but not be limited to the following:
