Job Description

Recruitment Hunters are recruiting for a Student Advisor to working for an International Higher Education client in Cambridge. This particular role is designed for a Graduate and you will be working in the conversion department to ensurethat all prospective Student Course enquires are converted into Sales.As a Student Advisor you will help students to make the right choices about their education. By proactively engaging with students, their parents and other stakeholders, you will be expected to convert existing offer-holders into confirmedenrolments for this Higher Education firm in the UK, Europe and USA. Working under a clear set of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and adopting a consultative sales approach, you will initiate and follow up on all student contacts, guiding offer-holders throughthe payment, compliance and enrolment process while addressing queries, articulating benefits and overcoming objectionsMain Responsibilities: -Student Advisor

  • Sales conversion activity by telephone, email and other platforms
  • Ensuring that existing offer-holders are converted into enrolled students via targeted and timely follow-up activity
  • Meeting individual and territory targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborating with the admissions team to ensure fast, efficient and effective follow-up of student applications to improve conversion rates and attain conversion outcomes.
  • Accurately record all student interactions and activities on CRM to ensure visibility and accountability.
Experience Required:- Student Advisor
  • Graduate (Ideally a Recent Graduate)
  • Strong Customer Service / Sales Experience - B2C
  • Brilliant interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, punctual, and highly organised
  • Able to adhere to and deliver on strict Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Attention to detail, cultural awareness, and sensitivity
  • Adaptable and versatile
  • Ability to clearly convey complex information in a way that others can readily follow
  • Supportive team player who thrives under pressure
  • Resilient, target-driven, and ambitious
  • Familiar with modern technology, with strong online and telephone etiquette
Desirable
  • Experience of working in Sales, Customer Services preferably in a call centre environment
  • Experience living/studying abroad
  • Language skills: Arabic, Mandarin, Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi, Urdu (DESIRABLE NOT ESSENTIAL)
  • Familiarity with the higher education sector in at least one of the following countries: UK, France, Sweden or USA.
  • Exposure to international student recruitment
The Student Advisor role is an urgent role and the firm would look to start a new person to start soon. They will be based in Central Cambridge. Working Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:30. The salary will be between £24,000 - £27,000 DOE PA +OTE Bonus up to 25% + company benefits.
