Job Description

Statistician / Senior Statistician12 Month ContractIR35 - Outside500 per day LtdFully remote workingCpl Life Sciences are partnering with our large pharma client to source a senior Statistician with experience in oncology for a 12 month contract position.ResponsibilitiesProvides statistical support for standard design and interpretation of clinical programmes, regulatory submissions and commercialisationUnder guidance of a more experienced statistician will undertake design and analysis of complex studies.Analysing internal and external information to inform design decisions and the development of decision criteriaApplies modelling and simulation to inform study design, assess robustness of results etcDevelop a Statistical Analysis plan for study and/or project deliveryProduce analysis, supporting graphics and analysis tables for standard CSRs, GMA studies or publicationsAble to interpret, summarise and communicate results of standard studies.Contribute to the improvement of methodology and provide practical solutions for problemsApply statistical methodology to improve the process and delivery activitiesContributes to the development of best practice to improve quality, efficiency and effectivenessRequirementsMSc/PhD in Statistics or Mathematics (containing a substantial statistical component)Oncology experience is essential - late phase experience would be preferred.Strong SAS programming experience (SAS and R)Communication SkillsCollaboration and Team Working SkillsWe are seeking contractors that can start within 4 weeks and if interested would ask that you forward your CV to Stephen Wincott at
