Job Description

Software Verification EngineerHertfordshire/Cambridge - £45,000 - £70,000 pa (depending on experience)A top consultancy in the Cambridge area is looking for a Software Verification Engineer to join their development team working on medical device, Instrumentation & Bio/Health Technology design.Responsibilities:

  • Work across the Software, Electronics & Systems disciplines to solve problems
  • Develop high level test strategies for embedded systems
  • Develop, execute & review verification test plans & procedures
  • Develop new testing tools & processes
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Degree in Electronics/Computer Science or another relevant discipline
  • Experience in software verification techniques
    • Component/Module test, Software-Software & Hardware-Software Integration, Static & Dynamic Analysis
  • Ability to design or maintain automated test systems
  • Python/other similar languages
  • Understanding of how Software Verification fits with the full Software Life Cycle
  • JIRA
Any mix of the following is nice to have:
  • Safety development standards (IEC 62304 or DO178B/C)
  • Fault finding at system & board level
  • Embedded Software architectures, RTOS & middleware
