Job Description

Kameo Recruitment is recruiting for a Software Tester/QA to join an established international technical organisation, based in Cambridge, with an option to work c.75% remotely.Reporting to the Test Lead, this role has been created to support the consultancy team from software testing point of view. Understanding the geographic information system (GIS) terminology is imperative. The successful candidate will thrive within agile cross-functional teams, be passionate about continuous improvement and display confidence with the customers. Your day-to-day involves developing and improving test automation infrastructure and building testing process, being manual or automated.Duties & Responsibilities for the Software Tester/QA:

  • Participating in requirement assessment and sprints internally and externally
  • Delivering manual testing, automated tests and reporting for stories as part of a CI
  • Ensuring adequate sign-off of releases
    • Requirements for the Software Tester/QA:
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience (or equivalent) with concepts of software testing
  • Knowledge of object-oriented languages (Java, C# or Python)
  • Demonstrable troubleshooting and debugging skills
  • Knowledge of GIS tools and systems
  • Experience using:
