As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be influencing DevOps team to build systems that are reliable, secure and efficient to run in production.You will focus on continually improving our ability to monitor, alert and automate manual operational work. Your work will enable the Royal Society of Chemistry to maximise service delivery, high availability, performance optimisation and ensuring that servicesare efficient at accomplishing their duties, even as those duties scale and evolve.You will be eliminating operational burden through obsessive automation.We are looking for someone who has experience with Amazon Web Services. You will also be able to demonstrable experience in coding for IaC (Infrastructure as Code), particularly with desired state configuration, including Terraform, PowerShell or Python.We are looking for: Experience with Amazon Web Services. Knowledge and experience of software security vulnerabilities and mitigation.
