Do you want to work in a team of outstanding compiler engineers, whose mission is to enable and support growth of adoption of Arm technologies in embedded devices, by providing timely, cutting-edge support for the latest Arm architecturesWe work closelywith our partners, who rely on our tools to support their future successes across many markets, including networking, storage, automotive and medical.If you are a highly skilled and motivated software engineer with broad experience and an interest in compilersor toolchains, we wish to hear from you! Join our team working on our commercial and open-source toolchains for Arm devices!Your work will cover various aspects of our tools: compilers, linkers and libraries. You will collaborate with your team and colleaguesacross the company worldwide, and we contribute many changes back to the open-source LLVM project also. Day-to-day tasks will include updates to the toolchain features, improving the test coverage and ongoing maintenance of the toolchain, as well as enablingcustomers in new application areas to use Arm technology to its full potential.Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:Develop high-quality, reliable toolchain improvements for Arms partners.Work with other groups in Arm to expand support of the Arm architecture& Arm IP.Contribute to open-source LLVM and related projects.Essential Skills & Experience:Excellent programming skills in C++.Experience in the full software development lifecycle (developing, testing, delivering, and maintaining production-quality software),in a commercial environmentDedicated and flexible, you are technically versatile, and can learn new skills that you can apply across multiple types of work.Desirable Skills and Experience:Understanding of the purpose and structure of compilers, assemblersand linkers.Experience of contributing to an open-source project and working with an open-source community and/or handling direct technical contact with customers.Knowledge of scripting languages, for example Python.Experience of development in Windows environmentand familiarity with ISO26262 or other Functional Safety implications is a strong plus.Education & Qualifications:Good degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science / Software Engineering, or an alternative with proven relevant experience.#LI-JW1
