This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative biotech that are developing a portfolio of first in class cancer therapies, and we are committed to delivering real impact on patient outcomes. They are a small but fast paced and dynamic company that offersa significant opportunity for growth and are backed by leading investors, and an experienced leadership team and Board. They are looking for a Senior Research Scientist who has extensive experience with human immunology specifically focusing on human immunecells such as macrophages and myeloid cells.What youll be doing
  • Developing assays for macrophage and myeloid immune cells.
  • Characterising therapeutic drug candidates in primary human immune cell assays by flow cytometry, imaging, and multi-omics assays
  • Mammalian cells engineering
What they are looking for
  • A PhD and/or postdoctoral experience in a relevant field.
  • Assay development experience using primary human immune cells/cell lines including macrophages.
  • Cell and tissue culture
  • Genetic manipulation in cells such as RNAi and knock out
  • Experience using phenotypic assays/flow cytometry for development of biochemical and cell assays for testing drug candidates
