Job Description

Senior ReceptionistCambridgeRef: SV/A1116£25,265 - £33,336 (depending on experience)ABOUT THE JOBWe are seeking a friendly and professional Senior Receptionist to work with a small team delivering reception and meeting room services across our 2 Cambridge sites. This is a great opportunity for you to use your reception/front of house experience to covera variety of duties including:

  • Ensuring the team provides effective and customer-focused services during core times (8.30am - 4.30pm, Monday to Thursday, 8.30am - 4.00pm, Friday)
  • Provision of cost-effective office supplies
  • Working closely with the fleet manager to support the administration of our vehicle fleet
  • Being an integral part of the sites emergency first response management team
The role is based across our 2 Cambridge sites at NIAB HQ, Cambridge CB3 0LE and NIAB, Park Farm, Histon, CB24 9NZ. A full driving licence or access to independent means of transport is desirable.Working Hours: 37 hours per week (Monday to Friday)Benefits include: 25 days holiday plus public holidays, generous sick pay, attractive pension scheme, income protection, life assurance and great colleaguesABOUT YOUIdeally, you will have:
  • Experience in reception front of house, customer service and administration
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to juggle priorities when under pressure
  • Good IT skills (preferably MS Office) including using computerised information systems
  • Staff supervision experience
