Senior IT Technician | up to £41,000 | Hybrid | Cambridge | Games StudioDo you want to work for one of the UKs Leading Games Studios Want to join a company who are passionate about building the most engaging gaming experiences for players all around the world Then this is an exciting opportunity for you.My client is looking for a Senior IT Technician with the responsibility for both straightforward and complex IT requests and challenges from throughout the business falling within your role. By promoting the definition, improvement, and adoption of all IT supportand troubleshooting methods, you will not only be able to efficiently address these problems on your own but also help other IT technicians resolve requests and problems that are equally complex.You will be well-versed in all the various IT services available, and you will make use of this knowledge to ensure that difficult issues or requests are escalated to the appropriate IT support team.Benefits:

Role:
  • Provide world class IT/Customer Liaison
  • By taking ownership of customer requests, issues, and complaintsalways making sure to respond in a timely fashion and to follow the appropriate escalation procedures.
  • By ensuring that customers are kept informed of the progress of their issues or requests, as well as the resolution by managing expectations at all times.
  • By understanding the game delivery / update schedule so you can help prioritize issue resolution relative to business value.
  • By logging all customer issues & requests on the IT ticketing system, understanding and establishing customer needs, and collecting relevant information & diagnostics needed for investigation & resolution.
Requirements:
  • Proven commercial experience in a similar support role (4 years minimum).
  • A customer service focus, with an excellent ability to handle customers effectively; with a qualification or work experience in a customer-facing environment.
  • Ability to present ideas & troubleshooting procedures in business-friendly & user-friendly language.
  • Excellent knowledge of PC & Mac hardware components, peripherals & Operating Systems (to current versions), as well as Mobiles & Tablets (Android & iOS).
  • Good experience/qualifications of troubleshooting in desktop products (hardware, software & network), Commercial Applications etc.
  • Excellent knowledge & experienceof IT ticketing systems(eg.Manage Engine, Service Nowetc..)
  • In-depth experience withActive Directory, Office365, Sophos or Kaspersky.
  • Great experience with remote management tools, such as SCCMorJAMF.
  • Lifting & transporting of heavy to moderately heavy objects, such as computers, monitors & peripherals.
  • Awareness of Agile Methodologies, experience working in Kanban, or as part of a cross-functional team.
