JOB AD:ROLE: Senior FPGA EngineerLOCATION: CambridgeSALARY: Highly CompetitiveDURATION: PermanentMy client designs, develops and manufactures thermal imaging and measuring equipment used in world-wide commercial systems, industrial, security and surveillance applications.They are looking to recruit a Senior FPGA Design Engineer to work in our busy R&D hardware department. This position will be based at our Head Office in Cambridge. The company sees this as a key appointment and excellent opportunity for the right individual.The primary area of work is a large SOC project for new infrared camera products. You will be working on every phase of the design from concept through to delivery of a working system. The design will need to meet functional requirements, minimise powerand support testability. As well as developing Verilog code, you will be expected to work with software engineers to help develop drivers and application software and will need to work with hardware engineers to evaluate devices, agree constraints and supporttesting.Other tasks may include smaller FPGA and CPLD designs as well as feature additions to existing products.Academic QualificationsThey are looking for candidates with A level grades (A or B) plus a degree in Electronics or Physics (or the equivalent).Experience Required
