Job Description

Cambridge - Senior Embedded Test Engineer -£55,000 - £65,000 - Machine VisionMy client is a cutting edge company who has become a global leader in designing, creating and applying cutting edge LED control technology. Due to their continuous innovation and growth, they are looking for a new Senior Embedded Software Engineer to supportthe team with developing test systems and producing automated tasks.Main Duties

  • Develop and maintain software and hardware for testing equipment and the systems used for LED controls and related products
  • Test new prototypes of products and simulations of electric circuits
  • Encourage use of automated testing to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Work with team of engineers to define test cases and methods for new and old products
Skills and Experience Required:
  • Proven experience programming with Python, C#, C++
  • Experienced in automated testing and test development on a large scale
  • An understanding of microcontroller programming
  • Knowledge of test life cycle management
Nice to have:
  • Experience with ARM cortex series
  • Experience with hardware development and understanding of how it interacts with software
