Job Description

Senior Embedded Engineer | C / C++ | Circa £75k DOE | Permanent | Hybrid | CambridgeshireWe are working with our client, who is a renowned global printing manufacturer, known for their wide range of industrial solutions across various industries worldwide.As a Senior Embedded Engineer you will collaborate closely with Hardware Engineers, Testers, and PM’s etc, playing a critical role in Specifying, designing, and developing the embedded software for their extensive product range.Role/Responsibilities:

  • Play a pivotal role within the software development team, taking on challenging projects and tackling complex issues.
  • Become an expert in software design for critical printer components.
  • Work in a dynamic team with a focus on delivering results and continuous improvement.
Experience/Skills:
  • Experienced in: C, C++
  • Experienced in Python, BASH and Linux kernel
  • Experienced in Agile Software Development.
  • Experience with Processor and FPGA
  • Test automation skills are a strong plus.
  • Competence in multi-threaded application development is desirable.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP and UDP socket programming is desirable.
Package:
  • Up to £75k DOE
  • Hybrid working (3 days per week on site)
