Job Description

Our client, a leading MSP, is recruiting for a Senior Cyber Security Engineer to join their forward thinking and expanding team. The Senior Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for creating and maintaining security controls across Office 365, emailsecurity, endpoint security and other various systems.This is a hybrid based role. Key Responsibilities for the Senior Cyber Security Engineer
  • Go–to resource for all cyber security–related matters within the organisation.
  • Provide expert–level technical support and guidance to other members of the Security Team as well as the wider business. Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of secure systems, networks, and applications.
  • Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Act as a mentor and provide training to junior team members.
  • Act as a key resource during cyber security incidents
Key Experience for the Senior Cyber Security Engineer
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CIPP, CCSP) are highly desirable.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in the field of cyber security, with a focus on supporting and mentoring other team members.
  • Experience in Microsoft security services, products and architecture is a must.
  • In–depth knowledge of network security, operating systems, databases, web applications, and cloud computing.
