This scale-up tech-science firm has recently received Series A funding and is growing rapidly towards the next round of investment. They are developing a unique modelling and analytics platform to help international corporations assess their risks and opportunitiespresented by rising temperatures, climate-related policy, and emerging technologies in our changing world.We are looking for an advanced modeller to help enhance and expand the modelling of climate risk scenarios and transition risks. This will include interpreting the social and economic science of climate change, and developing analytical models which translatethis for business applications, in terms of assessing the financial impacts to a business.You will hold an advanced degree in a numerical subject with familiarity with climate-related transition risks and climate scenarios (e.g. SSPs, IEA, NGFS). You will have experience with Python (preferred) or other modelling languages and excellent datascience, statistics, and analysis skills.This is an opportunity to work alongside some of the brightest minds in climate economics and risk in an entrepreneurial, high growth environment.
