Job Description

CK Group are recruiting for a Senior Bio-Scientist to join a company in the Pharmaceutical industry working on a contract basis for 12 months.Hourly Rate:Up to 37.78 PAYEUp to £49.11 UMBEssential Requirements:

  • A strong background in a biological or chemical related discipline with extensive experience of developing and qualification of methods for the quantitative measurement of biotherapeutics in biological samples
  • Experience with therapeutic proteins, monoclonal antibodies and biomarkers using technologies such as ligand binding
  • The ability to ability to develop hypotheses and execute analysis plans for pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics and biomarker data
  • Any experience wit LCMS would be an advantage
Senior Bio-Scientist Role:
  • Develop novel methods for the quantitative measurement of therapeutics such as monoclonal antibodies, gene editing components, proteins and nucleotides and/or biomarkers
  • Design, develop, and interpret assays and data to support discovery drug program transition through to lead candidate selection
  • Utilise a range of technologies in the lab will be essential such as large molecule by ligand binding (e.g. MSD, Gyros), mRNA by PCR
  • Take a lead role in the lab designing bioanalysis method strategies and interpreting data generated in support of new modality projects that will advance the clients drug pipeline
