This British-Swedish Company is a global, science-led bio pharmaceutical business and their innovative medicines are used by millions of patients worldwide.Your new roleYou will be responsible for confirming that the human biological specimens delivered to the COVID-19 Assessment Centre from around the UK are correctly accessioned into the laboratory.Primary responsibilities will include the removal of specimen transport tubesfrom kit packaging according to the safety guidelines outlined in laboratory standard operating procedures. The identification and appropriate management of deviating samples is also a critical part of this role. Personnel in this position will transfer samplesinto 96 well plates using automated or manual methods, complete viral inactivation steps, and ensure accurate data entry into a LIMS system. What youll need to succeedPrevious experience of working in a COVID testing site would be a significant advantage, hands on experience of Aseptic technique is essential, and experience of working in an automated environment would also be an advantage.
