With extensive experience in facilitating funding via new issues and private placementsfor a variety of sectors, our services are further enhanced by our broking platform who have an established reputation as a specialist in illiquid and distressed debt.Were currently looking for a Sales Trader to join Allia C&C in London on a full-time, permanent basis.The RoleAs a Sales Trader, you will identify, source and close trades in the secondary market.You will build and maintain high-quality investor-side relationships, sell-side accounts and market counterparties. Accounts will include institutional investment managers, wealth managers, intermediaries and family offices.Running new issue order books and overseeing the preparation of regular market and sector reports, you will also organise investor roadshows and presentations. If ours sounds like the kind of placewhere you could thrive, we want to hear from you.About YouTo be considered as a Sales Trader, you will need:- At least one years exposure to a broking environment, either agency, IDB or sales-trading- Experience in the use of execution platforms, Tradeweb, Market Axess etc- Knowledge of the bond market in particular corporate and ideally GBP- An understanding of how to read and analyse financial statements- Familiarity with the Bloomberg Terminal- Excellent numeracy and literacy skills- A good level of IT literacy, especially with MS Office suite- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills- Fluent English communication skillsWe would be happy to meet exceptional candidates who have been working in other asset classes and who are interested in moving into fixed income.Existing client relationships would a plus, but are by no means essential.Other organisations may call this role Fixed Income Trader, Corporate Trader, Commodities Trader, Sales Broker, or Stock Trader.Webrecruit and Allia are equal opportunities employers, value diversity and are strongly committed to providing equal employment opportunities for all employees and all applicants for employment.
