Job Description

Are you a detailed and organised Safety Officer looking for a new role Due to growth within the department, we are looking for someone who can maintain site safety and communications between department heads ensuring compliance requirements are met ontime.Working with the wider teams and the HSEQ you will be on hand to ensure site safety is met at all times, reporting and delivering requirement where needed. This is an exciting role within a fast growing company that can offer a long career.This is fantastic opportunity for an immediate start in a great location with free on-site parking and close to travel routes.As The Safety Officer, you will be:

  • Coordinate monthly/quarterly inspections that are conducted by others
  • Maintain documents and databases with correct information
  • Conduct first aid inspections
  • Perform Toolbox talks
  • Maintain Heath & Safety notice boards with engaging subjects
  • Maintain COSH requirements
  • Logging incidents/observations
  • Monitor PPE stock levels
  • Other admin tasks as required.
As the Safety Officer, you will have:
  • Great communication skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Be able to manage own time and deadlines
  • Be proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Experience working within a Health & Safety department
  • NEBOSH or equivalent qualifications
