Job Description

Regional Social Care Trainer– Up to £30k,plus 2.5k car allowance This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and driven individual when it comes to delivering top class training in health and social care. We are looking for aRegionalSocial Care Trainerideally with experience of operating in a care home setting to join our Cambridge Regional Team to deliver training throughout our Care home portfolio of 10 homes.The Regional Social Care Trainer will be responsible for the delivery of first class, comprehensive training to ensure our care teams feel safe and confident to deliver great care practice which in turn means our residents have the best experience whilst living within our services.The role is mobile therefore you must be able to travel to all our Cambridge homes in Whittlesey, Histon, Cottenham, Wisbech, Huntingdon, Cambridge Town Centre and St Ives.Main duties of the Regional Social Care Trainer:

  • To deliver engaging and effective induction and refresher training to care home staff: this includes mandatory training (e.g. Safeguarding, MCA/DoLS, Basic First Aid, Moving and Positioning, Dementia, etc.)
  • Build, develop and maintain positive relationships at all levels.
  • Ensure lesson plans are adhered to and training paperwork, systems and processes are followed at all times
  • Excellent planning to manage own time and diary effectively
  • Responsible for collating learning and development statistics in order to report on progress and compliance.
  • Monitor and report any trends and areas of high risk/non-compliance.
  • Work with and take an active part in the Regional Training Development group and attend meetings as required
