This is a rapidly growing company with a bulging order book fortheir World-class products so you can expect lots of fascinating projects, loads of variety and superb career progression.Project Manager / Manufacturing Engineering Project Leader`s Responsibilities:Management and coordination of the development of mechanical and electrical engineering designs for manufacturing and delivery of all production processes and equipment necessary for series production.Project manage the transition of prototype systems into series production.Lowering of cycle times to increase throughput.Deliver the design assembly detail and build instructions.Manage and deliver new series introduction, develop designs to increase productivity and reduce build times.Prepare reports and presentations to keep stakeholders informed of progress.Requirements:Degree ( BEng or MEng ) in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Manufacturing EngineeringCurrent manufacturing experience focusing on NPI for complex high-technology special purpose machineryExtensive Project Management experience5S / Lean Manufacturing experienceExperience in high vacuum systems, pneumatics, gas systems, precision liquid handling, production automation.PC literate (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc)Experience of supply chain management.Excellent problem solving, organizational, management and communications skillsLocation: rural Cambridgeshire -commutable from Cambridge, Huntington, Peterborough, Bedford, Wellingborough, Newmarket, etc)KEYWORDS: Complex instrumentation, high vacuum systems, pneumatics, gas systems, industrial automation systems, special purpose machinery.
