Job Description

We are Cambridge University Press & Assessment, a world-leading academic publisher and assessment organisation, and a proud part of the University of Cambridge.£32,100-£41,700OCR Product Support is looking for a Teaching Resources Production Manager to join our small friendly team, working on one of our key projects. Youll manage the migration of content for OCRs new teacher support website, Teach Cambridge, ensuring we meet project deadlines and deliver excellent services for our customers. Youll be line managing one administrator. This is a great opportunity for a content production manager to be part of a fast-paced and customer-focusedproject.The Role

  • Managing the migration of resources and related support materials for OCRs new teacher support website to project timelines, including defining processes and tasks, raising commissions, and setting deadlines in line with overall resource requirements.
  • Line managing an administrator to deliver the programme according to project priorities.
  • Working with colleagues across the business to define full briefs for specific content migration requirements, resolving questions and issues and adapting the migration process accordingly.
  • Managing the process of delivering the conversion of online delivery guides and other associated materials into new compatible formats.
  • Considering and responding to team capacity and capability limitations, sourcing and working with external suppliers/contractors for work that is outside the capacity or capabilities of the in-house team.
  • Providing real time data on all allocated content migration and project planning activities.
  • Reviewing the project ongoing, to see that that any lessons learned are shared accordingly, and continuous improvement is built into project processes and final BAU.
About youQualifications
  • Minimum GCSE English & Maths C grade or above (or equivalent)
  • A degree-level qualification (desirable)
  • Project Management (desirable)
Skills
  • Excellent IT skills - MS Word and MS Excel skills are essential, understanding of MS Access is desirable
  • Excellent standard of written English
  • Managing and influencing non-reports

Experience
  • Project Management (preferably within the education sector)
  • Line management
  • Publishing production and/or content management
  • Using CMS (preferably Tridion) to upload/manage online content

  • Ability to use initiative
