Small molecule drugs are organic compounds affecting molecular pathways by targeting important proteins. Small molecule drug discovery projects include target identification, target validation, hit identification, hit to lead, and lead optimisation & canlead to new medicines in a range of diseases.Our client specialises in developing novel drugs for diseases with significant unmet medical needs, specifically mitochondrial and rare diseases.We are recruiting for a Research Operations Manager to join their team due to expansion. Currently a small subsidiary of a large global pharmaceutical company, there are ~20 in the team and they are seeking a candidate to be responsible for the successfulexecution of assigned drug discovery programs.The role will involve ultising your scientific background to provide operational support & critical information to leadership and stakeholders including teams in legal, finance, IT and operations. You will drive projects by successfully planning, tracking,and reporting on milestones & providing input on risks, opportunities, resourcing and budgets.Working in a startup environment, supported by a large pharmaceutical company, you will have a broad range of responsibilities which will require a dynamic and motivated candidate.This position is for you if you have: -
