Mechanical Project Manager - R&D projectsA well-established Mechanical & Electrical contractor who are situated in Cambridgeshire are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their team.This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding office for a reputable award-winning M&E business. Projects will range in value but typically be from £500k to £3m and will be Laboratory and Research & Development type projects. As the Mechanical ProjectManager, you will ensure the projects are running accordingly with the installation and specification requirements whilst ensuring compliance with specification and contract documentation.As the Mechanical Project Manager, you will have the following duties and responsibilities: Lead, drive and encourage site team Fully resource project and implement any H&S matters Manage a material, subcontractor, installation, procurement and drawing programmes Planning to ensure the projects completed are profitable Carry out project administration-progress reportsSuccessful applicants will have the following qualifications and experience: Time Served Apprentice or relevant mechanical qualifications Working for a Building Services Contractor at a similar level Experience of managing project values up to £3m + (M&E) Consistently good financial returns on projects, taking into account all relevant factors Good people management and motivational skills The ability to plan ahead, co-ordinate and prioritise workloads Knowledge of systems to engineered and managed are LTHW, H&CWS, ductwork, BMS, air conditioning, specialist gases and above ground drainage Ability to estimate smaller projects Hold SMSTS.Please contact Adam Brown on or or for more information about this role or if you are interested in a new electrical management opportunity within the Building Services sector (Mechanical Site Manager, Mechanical Project Engineer, Mechanical Project Manager,Mechanical Contract Manager)
