Reed Scientific are recruiting for a Materials Characterization Scientist for a cutting edgematerials and technology companyfocussed on accelerating theenergy transition. They designand deliver innovativesolutions that provide the most effective carboncaptureand hydrogen storage systems. They are looking for scientists who want to contribute to making a difference in the fight against climate change by helping accelerate the delivery oftheir decarbonisation solutions to their customers.The roleIn this role the Materials Characterization Scientist would be part of a team whodevelop innovativeporous materialsand design systems for carboncapture, and hydrogen storagethat use them.Qualifications, Experience and Skills required• .A PhD in chemistry, analytical science, chemicalengineering, or four years of postgrad experience• Knowledge of gas adsorption and separationtechnologies.• At least 5 years experience (which caninclude thePhD) in characterising and testing porous materialsgained in an industrial or academic laboratory.• A team player with strong customer focus and greatcommunication and influencing skills.• Knowledge and experience of metal-organicframeworks would be an advantageSalary: £40k - £60k dependant on experience plus benefitsIf youd like to join a growing team of Scientists in the quest to contribute to a cleaner and healthier world, then please apply online now.
