At the RSC we embrace flexibility and offer hybrid working, which means our teams come together when they need to collaborate.Although this role is contractually based at our Cambridge office, you will be able to work from home within the UK, with the expectation that you will attend the office as needed for your role.The roleWould you like a job that makes a difference in supporting Education sectorThe Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) is looking for an experienced, highly skilled, customer-focused Marketing Specialist to join the Marketing team on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave.As marketing executive, you will be working to deliver impactful marketing campaigns. You will be working closely with both customers and colleagues, including those based overseas. You will collaborate with stakeholders from across the business to interpretcampaign vision and objectives into delivery and evaluation of marketing activity focussed on a particular customer segment and, where appropriate, territory.You will have a focus on supporting RSC’s Education strategy to empower communities to offer an excellent chemistry education to all, driving greater diversity and improving skills in the chemical sciences.This is a marketing specialist role, you will be accountable for overseeing activity from planning to delivery, and for bringing your campaigns in on time and to the allocated budget as well as reporting on effectiveness and recommending improvements. Regularcommunication with staff in territory will be required in order to be able to adapt marketing strategy to suit localised needs and create impact through relevant channels.In this role it is expected that you will attend the office one day per week.
