Job Description

  • Optimise production processes to improve cost savings and reduce wastage
  • Improve and develop manufacturing processes and equipment by introducing Lean manufacturing practices
  • Managing continuous improvement projects, data analysis and procedural changes
  • Resolution of issues relating to technical, safety, quality and delivery
  • Participate, implement, and resolve corrective actions based on root cause analysis
  • Actively assist in the delivery of new product introduction (NPI)
  • Create and maintain process work instructions and relevant documentation
  • Working collaboratively with the Engineering Manager, Production Engineers and Quality department
About you:
  • Experience of working within a Manufacturing or Engineering industry
  • Proven experience utilizing Six Sigma and / or Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience of leading or managing projects
  • Understanding and experience of using an ERP business system
  • Good numerical and analytical skills
  • Adaptable to communicate with different levels of employees
  • Confident at pitching ideas and solutions to senior management
